Bamboo Toothbrushes

Over 30 million toothbrushes are used and disposed of by Australians each year, amounting to approximately 1000 tonnes of landfill.

Plastic toothbrushes are made from a combination of plastic material derived from crude oil and rubber. The manufacturing process for plastic toothbrushes also contains a range of harmful plastic by-products as well as petroleum and crude oil. They also end up in the ocean polluting our water and harming our marine life.
